- State of Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth (DELEG) Energy Office
The DELEG Energy Office coordinates the Rebuild Michigan program, of which Rebuild Ypsilanti is the local program. The office’s website offers a wealth of information and program information.
- ENERGY STAR®
ENERGY STAR® is a joint program of the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is an energy efficiency program for buildings, both residential and commercial. An ENERGY STAR building is one with superior energy performance. ENERGY STAR labeled products meet criteria for higher efficiency than average products (labeled products include appliances, furnaces, air conditioners, lighting and more).

Loans
- Small Business Pollution Prevention Loans, State of Michigan Department of Environmental Quality
Low interest loans from up to $400,000 for energy and water conservation, etc.
- SBA 504 Loan Program, Michigan Certified Development Corporation
The SBA 504 Loan Program provides healthy small and medium-sized businesses with long-term fixed rate financing for the acquisition or construction of fixed assets. Projects are financed through a unique public/private partnership that involves private lenders financing 50% of project costs, MCDC covering up to 40% of project costs, and small businesses investing at least 10% of project costs.
