Clean Energy Coalition has teamed up with the City of Ann Arbor to develop a community-wide Climate Action Plan (CAP). Local governments throughout the country have developed CAPs to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and prepare for expected climate change impacts.
Ann Arbor’s CAP builds on a recently established goal to reduce community-wide GHG emissions by 8% from year 2000 levels by the year 2015. Through a city task force and community engagement process, Clean Energy Coalition will help:
The Ann Arbor community will be engaged throughout the process of drafting the plan, including providing feedback on proposed emissions reduction measures.
