Clean Energy Communities helps municipalities define and meet goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Our energy experts specialize in municipal and community-wide greenhouse gas emissions inventories. Using the ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability five-milestone process, we guide Michigan communities through the process, and partner with them to reduce emissions by:

1. Establishing a greenhouse gas emissions baseline
2. Setting a reduction target
3. Developing a local action plan
4. Implementing the action plan
5. Measuring the results
