In just six years, Clean Energy Coalition has assembled more than $55 million in Michigan-focused clean energy projects, drawing from private contributions, foundations and government grants. In fact, grant writing for public and nonprofit agencies, and select private entities, is one of our specialties.

Successes
PACE: Property Assessed Clean Energy – Managing a $4 million project to develop and implement an energy program for the City of Ann Arbor. Initially funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Efficiency Community Block Grant. Targeted for August 2012 completion.
Cities of Promise – This $6.1 million project is utilizing $4.4 million in Michigan Public Service Commission funds to develop a clean energy framework in Michigan’s eight Cities of Promise. Services include comprehensive technical assistance and financial support for energy efficiency upgrades to municipal facilities and the installation of renewable energy projects. Targeted for 2012 completion.
