Comprehensive Home Energy Assessment
Includes Blower Door Testing and Infrared Analysis
An energy assessment measures all the ways your home uses – and loses – energy. A qualified energy analyst can inspect your home’s insulation, windows, appliances, lighting, furnace, and air conditioning equipment and perform a blower door test to identify air leakage and ways to eliminate it throughout your home.
Infrared imaging is a powerful tool to detect insulation gaps, air leakage, and other hidden energy losses. This tool is most effective when combined with blower door testing. A full report including infrared and reference images with detailed captions will be provided.
After compiling the data, we build a virtual energy model and provide recommended energy improvement upgrades — based exclusively on your home — and a full report that includes a prioritized list of recommendations and an analysis of your potential return on investment.
